Wow, it’s been a week and a half since I posted anything.  Sorry ’bout that!  I have a good reason though; my brother’s in town visiting for 10 days, and we don’t see him often.  He and his wife live in Japan and only come home every year and a half or so.  The last time they were back was right after they got married, before Waverly wasn’t even born.  This is there first time meeting her, and they’re all pretty smitten with each other.  It’s really cute!  Bottom line, I’ve just been enjoying lots of extra time with my family and letting myself off the hook for posting.  While it’s been a nice break, it’s not going to last long.

I have some really exciting news though… I’m in the Summer Issue of Foodie Crush Magazine.  How stinken awesome is that?!?!  Well, let me tell you, it’s waaaaay awesome.  And what did I make for the magazine?  Food in Jars, obviously.  Here’s a little hint of one of the recipes, Trail Mix Nut Butter.  Drool!  Between 5 of us, we DEVOURED the entire batch in 1 sitting.  This stuff is GOOD!

 

Food Crush magazine is basically an online food magazine that features tons of different bloggers, amazing recipes, impressive food photography, and much more!    Heidi (the brains behind Foodie Crush) does an extraordinary job putting it all together.  I’m honored to even be in a magazine with so many other unbelievably skilled bloggers.
